CelestRay Biotech Company, LLC was established on July 10th, 2019.This high-tech start-up company specializes in R&D and commercialization of fibrous membrane loading chemo-drugs for cancer treatment. The brief mission of this company is to develop several products with specific drug(s) and release profile(s) and make sure them to be approved by FDA and applied in clinic. Mission statement is to minimize the side-effect during the chemotherapy and to improve the quality of life or help the person feel better.

As a R&D company, the organizational structure is simple and flat. Principle investigator as general manager (GM) and all the departments are responsible for individual missions and report to GM. 

General manager – Charles Chi-chao Han, from UMCP (adjunct professor in MSE), Used to be Dean of IAS in SZU, Director of joint lab of polymer science and materials in ICCAS, NIST fellow, group leader of multiphase materials group and polymer blends group in NIST. Established a biomaterial company in China manufacture fibrous membrane for prevention the post-operative adhesion.
